About Amir
A more terrific trio you’d be hard pressed to find! Meet Makayiah, Emani, and Amir.
Makayiah is a “very smart girl who loves hard.” As the oldest, she is very caring towards her siblings and enjoys looking over them. When she’s at school, she goes out of her way to make all new students feel welcome, and she loves to learn science. At home, you can find her learning the newest trending dances, working on her skin care routine, making bracelets, or teaching herself gymnastics.
Emani is an energetic and well behaved girl who loves to do puzzles and gets excited about the world around her. Described as very “chatty, intelligent, and expressive,” Emani makes friends easily at school. She thrives in reading class and loves to participate in the Mystery Readers Program. When she’s not at school, Emani likes to ride her princess bike with her siblings and do puzzles.
Amir is the storyteller of the group. He loves to talk about anything and everything! Amir is described as having a very sweet disposition and loves to cuddle. He enjoys his science class at school and, like his sister Emani, has lots of friends to play with at recess. He is champion of the Freeze Game at recess time. “No one can get me out!”
The siblings are a great group of kids who are looking for an Illinois family to provide love, care, structure, and will continually show the children they will be there for them. A family who is trauma informed is ideal. Must be willing to keep all three siblings together.
