Julian is shy when he meets new people, but he doesn’t hold on to the shyness for very long! He makes friends easily and prefers dogs over cats, especially big dogs because they are nicer than smaller dogs, according to Julian. Outside activities are his favorite; he enjoys going to the park and playing basketball. Julian is looking forward to his first year of high school and hopes to play basketball, football and run track. He has an extensive list of favorite foods, including Big Macs from McDonalds, spaghetti, chicken, rice, greens and cornbread. His favorite school subjects are gym, art, math and science.
Julian is respectable and approachable. He has a great sense of humor and is very caring and helpful. He is engaging and fun to be around. Sometimes he needs redirection and reminders to stay on task and use his coping skills when he gets upset. Julian enjoys one-on-one attention.
Julian wants a two-parent family but will consider single parent families. He would like to be the youngest and would like someone to play video games or sports. He wants an active family. He has close connections with his family and it is very important these relationships are supported and maintained. A family will need patience, structure and experience with trauma.
