Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Greenlight Family Services celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within Team Greenlight and the communities we serve. We believe our workplace is most empowered when each staff member can bring their full self to the table in all their uniqueness. For clients, we are dedicated to ensuring equitable access to services and recognize that this requires a commitment to constant learning and growth. Greenlight adapts to incorporate inclusive and equitable policies and practices for all staff and clients.

Team Greenlight receives ongoing DEI training. This recently includes training from Howard Brown Health on inclusive language and practices for trans and gender nonconforming (TGNC) staff and clients. Greenlight also received training on client-centered language and another on trauma-informed language.

Currently, Greenlight is completing the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s All Children – All Families certification process designed for LGBTQ+ inclusive child welfare agencies.

Non-Discrimination
