A Benefit to Support Sexual Assault Survivors

The Love + Light benefit raised an incredible amount for campus sexual assault survivors. Attendees mingled with heavy appetizers and an open bar and participated in exciting raffles. Guest Speaker Kelley Kitley, LCSW, renowned mental health expert and former Greenlight therapist, emceed this lively event. Kelley shared her own story of survival and about the important of access to healing through the Greenlight Counseling program.

Greenlight Gala 2022 was an incredible, eventful evening. With your generosity, we raised more than $140,000 in support of our mission to achieve the best outcomes for families, young adults and children by providing the highest quality services. The evening was emceed by Marion Brooks, award-winning NBC 5 Chicago anchor. Marion Brooks and Greenlight CEO Dr. Maria Nanos presented the Impact Awards to outstanding honorees including Paula Basta, Director of the Illinois Department on Aging and Tradara and Mark McLaurine, owners of Tremark Logistics, LLC. Both Paula Basta and the McLaurine’s have made an incredible difference for the Illinois children, young adults and families we serve.
